Easter Egg Scramble!

Although the blustery weather on Saturday forced the postponement of community Easter egg hunts in some communities, the hunt at Garner was relocated to the GHV high school gym! Hundreds of area youngsters turned out for the event which was hosted by the Garner Merchant Association and participating sponsors. Kids were divided into age groups. The colorful plastic eggs were scattered about the gymnasium floor and disappeared within seconds! (Egg shells were recycled for next year.)
