Janet R. Fredin, 74, of Garner passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo with her daughter by her side.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in Garner with Rev. Kristin Peters officiating. 

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 27th at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St. in Garner.
