Six Punch Tickets to State for WH Boys Track

NORTHWOOD - The West Hancock boys track team competed in the Class 1A State Qualifying Track Meet on Thursday, May 15th. The Eagles qualified six events to the state track meet. Results of the meet were unavailable at time of publishing. 

State qualifiers are listed below:

Preston Gayken qualified for state in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:05.64. 

Jacoby Subject punched his ticket to state in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.50. 

The Eagles 4x100 meter relay team qualified for state with a time of 45.00. The team consists of Nathan Bixel, Subject, Gustavo Gomez, and Brady Bixel. 

The Eagles also qualified in the 4x110 shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 1:04.38. The race will be run by Bixel, Gomez, Coen Witte, and Subject. 

Giovanni Garcia claimed an eight seed in the long jump with a leap of 21-04.25. 

Ray Gretillat is a 13 seed in the shot put after throwing for 47-04.25.
