Halloween happenings in Hancock County

Halloween events have been scheduled for the last week of October in Hancock County. Trick-or-treating hours and related events in the area include the following:
Garner
The Garner Chamber of Commerce is hosting Treats on the Street on October 25. The event will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Edward Jones Office and Garland/Rodriguez Law Office on State Street. This year features the new addition of Trunk-or-Treat near the Olde Creamery during Treats on the Street. At 11 a.m., the Avery Theater will have a free showing of "The Addams Family," will popcorn and pop provided sponsored by Stellar Industries. Halloween music will be provided by Randy Formanek.
Halloween Trick or Treat hours on Oct. 31 are 5-7 p.m.
Britt
The Britt Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Treats on the Street on October 25 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., starting at City Hall. The Britt Christian Reformed Church will join in with a Trunk or Treat at the Crossroads Ministry from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will also provide hot chocolate. After that, Hancock County Learning Center will be hosting their second annual "Fall Fest" at City Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be kids activities, a costume contest, a petting zoo, a silent auction vendors, music from Mojo Productions, and free chili. To end the day, the Chamber will be at the Britt Municipal Building with a free showing of Lilo & Stitch (2025) with free popcorn and drinks. Trick-or-treating will be on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 5-7 p.m.
Kanawha
Trick-or-treating will be on November 1 from 5-7 p.m. During that time, 223 W 2nd Street will be transformed into a haunted house that is open to the public.
Corwith
The Corwith Community Club will be working with the city to host their Trunk or Treat event on Elm Street at 5 p.m. on October 26. The communtiy club will be grilling hotdogs and serving chips for a free will donation.
Woden/Crystal Lake/Klemme/Goodell
Trick-or-treating will be on October 31 from 5-7 p.m. in all four towns.
